SewQuik Enterprises, Inc. is a Window Design company that also operates a professional workroom that services commercial and residential clients across the U.S.  SewQuik provides consultations to interior designers in producing unique window treatments for their clients.  SewQuik also works directly with residential clients to design and fabricate an entire house of window treatments including blinds.

SewQuik began on Maggie's dining room table in March, 2001.  As the company grew, SewQuik expanded into a 3000 sq. ft. design and manufacturing facility.  

Maggie McKenzie, president, has been sewing and advising in the window treatment industry for over 25 years in various capacities. Maggie has been featured in the Syracuse Business Journal, was guest speaker on several radio stations, and spoke at the Syracuse University sponsored Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship ( WISE ) convention on "Desire and Drive to start a business".

Obtaining her teaching degree from Bowling Green State University in Toledo, OH.,  Maggie has taught K-12.  She is currently teaching at  OCM Boces, an adult education program for extended learning, since 2004. She teaches 8 different classes including window treatments, pillows/cushions and slipcovers. Maggie currently holds a certification as a Certified Window Treatment Consultant (CWTC) from the Window Covering Association of America (WCAA).

Maggie belongs to several local and national women's organizations as well as the Syracuse Chamber of Commerce where she has served on the Executive Committee.
